Exclamation Calling all (Southern) NH villagers... a HIKE up North Pack Monadnock

    Hi.

I am going to be with a bunch of dogs and people, rain or shine, to hike!

We will be taking "Ted's Trail" (in Greenfield NH) to the summit of North Pack Monadnock, (a round-trip 6 miles with ~1400' elevation gain, with an option to take "Carolyn's Trail" for the return for a loop hike). It should be an easy/moderate hike...

    Am I crazy???

Good for you, that sounds like a lot of fun. Will all your dogs be going with you?

Well, heck. I have relatives in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. Their backyard has a beautiful view of Monadnock, and when I was a kid, we would hike there regularly. In fact, as a teen hippie-wannabe, I climbed Monadnock barefooted. Heh.

    Have a great hike!
