Wonka and I danced at a local college

Wonka and I participated in an event this week called "Grandparents U" - it's kind of like a summer camp where grandparents bring their grandkids and attend "classes" designed for the kids. Wonka and I took part in a class called "Paws in Action" and the kids really seemed to enjoy it. Other people and their dogs demonstrated other cool things that dogs can do (tracking, working scent articles, etc.) and they also talked about therapy dogs and ways that dogs can help people (like picking up dropped keys and turning off lights).

Wonka and I did two Freestyle routines. We debuted a new song we're working on: "Oh Boy!" by Buddy Holly and we also did a patriotic marching routine with three other dogs/people.


Other freestyle news:
We're just in the very beginning planning stages for it, but Wonka and I are going to do a Pairs routine with a Tibetan Spaniel - also called Tibbies, they look just a little bit like a long haired Pug... the one we'll be dancing with is black and white and his name is Westley.

I think it's going to be really cute, but we have a ton of work to do and haven't started choreographing or anything, we've just picked a song and discussed a few ideas so far.
