Got this email from my trainer today.

Hi Heather,

What you found is correct and yes, the CKC site is NOT user-friendly. I wouldn't bother going the CKC route nor waiting for the possibility of a change in rules.

I will be offering my students with non-registered dogs the opportunity to earn CKC equivalent titles. You could do it by entering any match and advising the judge in advance that you are entering for an "official leg". You will be expected to follow all the proper rules of competition (as will the judge). When you qualify, you will bring me your score sheets, duly signed by the judges upon which Blue Ribbon will award you (or actually your dog) the appropriate certificate.
