I think I've found it though. After strongly considering top contenders like "The Twist" by Chubby Checker, and "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves, and of course, the wonderful "Cantina Band" by (I think) John Williams (from Star Wars), and some others ("you've got a friend in me" which really says how I feel about my Talos, and "Splish splash" which is awesomely silly ... and this, which is fun but entirely inappropriate - warning for swearing and gratuitous violence), Justin remembered this:

Basically, the owner of the copyright must be dead for 50 years, with no renewal of the copyright in the interim. On the plus side, this means Handel's Hallelujah Chorus is on the table... on the down side, it means "Let's Twist Again" is not.
