We entered Kittie and Willy in our clubs agility trial on Saturday. This is a USDAA (United States Dog Agility Assoc. ) club. They're considered to be tougher in many ways than other venues like AKC, course times are a lot faster! If you're time is even a fraction of a second over you cannot qualify. The total yardeage you're running is a lot more too. We've never been particular successful in this venue, we were always just over time..... until this weekend!Kittie was smokin through the courses this weekend. She was 19 seconds under time in standard and a full 24 seconds under time in jumpers.
Willy still needs some workThere was no gating around the rings at this trial, and people have their chairs, along with coolers filled with yummy treats for their dogs, you know where this is going, right? Willy made it quite a ways, for Willy, but as I expected he made a detour to reward himself for all his hard work and booked it right on out of the ring. That's my boy!!

Wow, Kittie was FLYING!That's really impressive, Jesse. 'Course, I'm dying laughing over Willy and his reward. He's no dummy.
The crowd must've loved it.

Acquiring a dog is likely the only chance a human will ever have to pick a family member.
Thanks guys, we had LOTS of fun as usual!
Margie, I can't wait to meet you and your pugs too!
