Flyball is *so* fun to watch, but I agree with Jamie. Dogs just seem to lose their minds with excitement. I was watching something about it on Animal Planet and saw two dogs hit head-on -- one didn't come to for a few scary moments. They also talked about the risk of dogs crossing lanes, thinking every ball is *their* ball.

Where did you guys find mini tennis balls?
We have two different kinds of mini balls, ones that float and ones that sink. The ones that sink are very small the ones that float are mini but not tiny.
We either get this kind, (they also come in mint flavored.)
Or we get the ones made by the kong company they have squeakers inside of them, but my little squeaker killer kills the squeaker with in minutes of getting the new ball:
Both can be found at petsmart, and petco.

That's what I was afraid of...what a shame! Why can't they just put some type of gating up between lanes? I agree, it's not worth it, and who knows, Rudy get pretty crazed when chasing a tennis ball she could be the one to try to get "her" ball off of another dog.![]()
I usually buy tennis balls from the cat section of the store.

I got Jackson's at Petsmart and he loved them! But now with McKenna, I can't keep even regular size tennis balls around or they only last about 5 minutes. The little ones like that could choke my big guy, so I don't get them any more.Originally Posted by SnarfsAunt

Hm, must've missed them. I'll look again.
Frank uses the big ones, I got the little ones and they are too small for him, I'm scared he'll choke.
Dollar General sells 'doggie' tennis balls for 3 for $1.
