So, Nixon went to his first drop-in agility class today, and we had a blast. He is a little speed demon. I love watching him fly with his ears flappin' and his tail stretched out behind him. It definitely reminded me about how poor of shape I am in.......His first run was more than I could have ever expected. He was nearly perfect. His second run he was exhausted and refused to jump and run. But, I think it was partly my fault as I didn't get him out of his crate and revved up first. His third run I had him all worked up before we went and he did well (not as well as his first run but it was fairly hot and he was pooped). Then he did weaves for the first time (spread out of course) and he did beautifully. For a seven year old, he's a quick lil' bugger. I am so proud of him. I really think he had a blast!!
That's fab..I know what you mean about them putting us to shame..I nearly pass out sometimes after a few laps. Mickey is getting really good - he can do everything really well but we haven't mastered the weave yet.![]()
Rebecca, and her puggies Miss Emma, Mickey, Arthur and Marmite.
Forever missing my beloved Albert, waiting for us at the bridge.
Way to go!! Does this mean he'll be at nationals?
