We’ve had 5 classes now and have just two left until the class is over. It has FLOWN by! There won’t be another Freestyle class starting until February, but I’m already looking forward to taking another class. The instructor and others in the class keep telling me that Wonka is a natural and is doing so well. I’m really proud of my little Wonka Pug… he’s the Dancing King!

For the final class we’ll show off our “Rock Around the Clock” routine (which the class hasn’t seen us do yet) and we’re also learning a “Group Routine” with the rest of the class. The Group routine is to the song “The Entertainer.” We’ll perform them for a very small audience of family and a few friends. Wonka still needs to work on his “wave” (which is what he’s supposed to be doing at the very beginning of the video), but otherwise, he has really picked up the dance steps quite well.

Wow, umm...sure, go ahead! I'm flattered!

I met a lady the other day who has been doing K9 Freestyle for years (and was even on the TV show 'Pet Star' for it) and she asked me if I would be entering any of the competitions... I'm not sure I'm ready for that just yet, but if Wonka and I continue to enjoy it this much, I may think about trying for the beginner level next year.
