First agility trials for the season

and my dogs are so wound already! I packed up some things for the weekend this morning...the've been crazed ever since seeing that overnight bag come out.

Did a quick practice with Kittie and Abby this morning. Abby did pretty well definitely fast! not quite as accurate as I'd like but her speed is great.

Kittie's been out of control lately Barking so much she's missing weave poles, and is flying off the teeter, like a tiny super pug. I think she needs a cape!

Wish us luck, we leave later this afternoon, a 3 1/2 hour drive...in the snow!

I'm interested in hearing about your AKC Invitational experence. Let me know if you are still planning a trip out this way. I'd love to get together at a trial.

Our season started last weekend. Clancy got his first Open Jumpers Q (2nd place) and his second Novice Standard Q (1st place) - we beat a Parson Russell Terrier, a poodle and a pit bull! Such a good boy. Our next trial is in three weeks.

Our first trial of the year was supposed to be next weekend, but we didn't get in. We are on the wait list for a trial 3-28 & 29 so hopefully we will have lot's of Q's to report.

We're still home. The snow turned into a blizzard, rt 70 was closed most of yesterday afternoon. They keep pushing the start time back and it may be cancelled all together.

We have trials planned for almost every weekend from now through fall, so hopefully I'll have a good report after next weekend!

Margie, I saw your run on youtube, you guys look great. I'll send you a pm about the invitational and meeting up this summer. I'd love that!
