Here is Wonka with all the awards he has won during his first year competing in Canine Musical Freestyle.
(He looks a bit sleepy in this pic! Still tired from his busy weekend!!)
What you're looking at: Tall red/white/blue trophy = Most Entertaining Routine (May 2009, Team Routine). Tall black and gold trophy = Highest Scoring Asian Breed dog (Nov. 2009). Short trophies = titles, one for Team routine and one for Solo routine. Turqoise ribbons = qualifying scores earned. Red ribbons = non-qualifying attempts. Medals on ribbons = placements (2 first place, 3 second place, 1 third place).

Thank you! Yes, when I look at them all together, I think "Wow, we've done really well!" The little set-backs don't seem to matter as much when I look at how far we've come in just one year of competing... and just two years of dancing together.
He's on his "at-home spa vacation" today... getting lots of pampering, laptime and massages.![]()

that is totally amazing
just showed my son the video and he can not believe a pug can do that..dance like that..
congradulations to the both of you
It's a very large piece of white felt that my husband brought home from work one day... it was used as padding in a shipment and was headed to the trash so he grabbed it and figured I'd find a use for it!!Black pugs are SO hard to photograph and I thought the white backdrop would help, but I think my camera is just too cheap to really make Wonka look fab.
