This article is very, very eye opening. Be warned, it is very disturbing but information pet owners need to be aware of. Make yourself read the entire article. Then you may want to contact your pet food companies and ask questions. It changed how I feed my pets!

Sadly it's all very true, which is why if your going to feed kibble, buy a Premium one. The European ones I know are Arden Grange, James Wellbeloved, and Almo Narure, I'm sure there are more. Can't help you State side as I don't know what's available.

Thanks so much for posting that link. It always disturbs me to no end when people insist there is no difference in what we feed our dogs. Even if they weren't being fed dead, dying or diseased animals, just the fillers and other junk that is in the cheap foods is like feeding your dog McDonalds every day of their lives (and if you question what this does to a person, watch "Fast Food Nation").

Sadly I have heard this before in a book called "Food Pets Die For".
I find it beyond disgusting and can not understand why some vets would dispose of pets in this manner. Even our county shelter does not do this: landfill : (

And Taylor, who showed me how to be loved by a pug, waits at the bridge. Mommy loves you! You will forever be in my heart.
Love is to wake up cuddling a pug.
