chen use to hide things.... but the puglets, they are too worried about the other one getting their treat. LOL .. i remember the days of smelling something and realizing Chenn had hide a piece of meat or something in the couch cushion ..

Rumy loves to bury his treats. It's usually something odd like a piece of bread or a hard treat (he doesn't like hard treats, only soft ones). He'll stick it under the edge of something and push with his head, just like he's covering it with dirt. I used to find things in between the sofa cushions. Every now and then I will find something under my bed pillows.

Mine eat them as fast as they possibly can so no one else will get it. I have to dole out treats very carefully so as not to start any fights and I have to count my fingers to make sure they are all still there after I give Roxy a treat...she's a work in progress

This has been great reading the stories. mmm salmon caches, and I thought hidden chunks of steak and chicken would be bad :)

Mz Tilly hasn't eaten her cookie yet, she keeps ckecking on it though.

MuShu used to hide her rawhide chewies before I stopped giving them to her because I found out they weren't good for her. Then she used to hide her beef marrow bones which I also stopped giving to her because she used to rub the fur off of her face chewing on those darn things! The treats she gets now, she just wolfs down!

Short update on the cookie treat. She has decided it doesnt need to be hidden, so it's on her blankey. First thing she does when coming back to the room is check for it. I think it's her safety treat and be heartbroken if it was to go missing.

I have to say that Otto doesnt save treats for later. All is gone the second he sees it. Even ones he doesnt really like and walks away from, two minutes later, its missing cause he ate it. LOL

The saga of the cookie continues. It's stttiiilllllll heeeerrrreee!!! LOL She isn't too concerned with it though. If I move it to the coffee table she will see it from the couch and put it back on the couch in the corner, but otherwise she isn't concerned. I'm just glad it's not nasty!

It's really interesting behaviour since it seems to be a comfort for it to be there, but why I have no idea.
