Well, you could continue feeding puppy food, or you could switch over to an all life stages food. I feed my 8.5 month old Ruby natural balance fish and sweet potato recipe. I have tried several other high quality foods on the market but this has been the only one that doesnt make her gassy or have stinky poops. If your pug isnt gassy/stinky poops you could always try Merricks, chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul, holistic select, taste of the wild, before grain. Always read the ingredients, if they have by-products, corn (ground, gluten, anything to do with corn), soy (bean, oil), wheat (gluten, ground, etc), then they are not good foods to be feeding your pug. Especially if you see foods in commercials, like Iams or Eukanuba, those are not high quality foods and they put more money into advertising than they do into making a good food. Hope this helped! Good luck

    Hi there,
We feed our 14 week old puppy Solid Gold - which he seems to like, although we may be switching him the near future as he's quite gasey...anywho, a lot of people on here feed Orijen or Acana (same makers) - both which are great as they are grain free...I am actually leaning towards Acana as I don't want Charlie to get too chubby, so I think the slightly lower amount of protein will be good for him...Just remember to make the switch soon if you are planning too, so you have enough food to switch Cookie over gradually!
