Default HO HO HO Christmas at Pat's place today for all PUGGIES....come join us..for treats

all the dogs got a fresh beef marrow bone this morning. that will keep them busy for hours and hours. everyone has there own space and off they go and chomp down. they love them. have used raw beef marrow bones for years with my dogs and never had a dog that does not like them.

making dried treats today to freeze too. will freeze them on a cookie sheet when they are one and just take out the ones that I need at the time.......maybe freeze them in small packages too...some of them

    making pork tenderloin medalions............
    beef jerkey............
    liver treats........

the pugs think it is Christmas for sure here
what more could a pug ask for homemade treats and a marrow bone..

so my house will smell again.......lol today
I love the idea of homemade treats..
takes hours to dry it but so well worth it...
the dogs go nuts over them

    so Merry Christmas
    come join us for snacks..

Sounds like such fun !! Wish Yoda and I could come visit you hehehe.

Could you post a pic of the beef marrow bone for me please Pat? I'd love to get some for Yoda from the butcher. Must be uncooked right?

    yes they are uncooked
will take a pic...my son has my camera right now but will tonight for you

if you ask for a beef marrow bone..the butcher will know what you are asking for
if you have a grocery store there they might sell them as soup bones too

mine had a blast with all the treats and the bones were a hit. used the bones for 30 years for all my dogs. I freeze them so it takes a bit more time to get all the marrow out......but you do not have too. GOTTA be raw.

someone told me that when they get dirty looking........they just put them through the dishwasher and wash them again. I usually just replace them...they are cheap enough to buy in the first place
