LISA should we ALL be watering down the FOOD on PV??

I am still watering down the food here and they still do drink water too...
but they all do not mind the watered down kibble...
at first I am sure they thought it was gravy..lol

This is all new to me... My pugs have had their share of issues but never uti or crystals. How does the water help? How does this differ from keeping water available at all times? Thanks
