    Default Fromm Surf and Turf

Just thought that I would share my recent food experience with our recently adopted Pug, Napoleon.

Some of you might recall we adopted him from Compassionate Pug Rescue in Miani, Florida about 7 months ago.

In any event, he is a wonderful four year old black male.

Based on the suggestion of the owner of our local natural pet food store, I started him and our Yorkie-Poo on Fromm's Duck and sweet potatoe formulae.

He had been on Science Diet, which I consider junk.

After being on the Fromm for awhile, I noticed that he was starting to frequently lick himslef quite aggressively, which is usually the sighn of an allergy.

After discussing the issue with the owner of the food store, I switched him over to Fromm Surf and Turf, which is a totally grain free food, and so far it has made a mafor difference, No more licking.

    Anyone else, tried this food?

No, good to know though! We are trying to make some food changes with lots of difficulties! I have finally got Buddy's tummy back to a comfortable place but he is still on the old food. He is sniffling and scratching again though. I am sure he is probably allergic to something in the food but trying to change it really upset his tummy. I am going to keep him on this food for a bit to let his tummy calm down but then I want to try a new food again. It seemed when he was temporarily on the gastro food the vet gave us awhile back he was fine...it had pork and no chicken or duck...so I am thinking he may also be allergic to one of those. Good luck with the new food!
