I feed Lola, CANADIAN NATURALS, Small Bites Turkey & Salmon dog food. When Ozzy arrives, he will eat it too. It's locally made in Alberta and BC and is rated quite high for quality. You can find it at Tisol Pet Food & Supplies. Price is pretty good too. 50 bucks for 30 lb bag.

I recently switched Sunny from Orijen (I alternated their fish one and the Regional Red one) to Acana's grain-free Pacifica and I couldn't be happier. While I know Orijen is top quality, I think it was too rich for Sunny. She started gaining weight slowly and if I reduced her portions she acted like she was starving. She also had horrible gas and her poops weren't as firm as I'd like. She also developed a bad habit of licking my carpet near the end which I read may be the result of trying to calm an upset stomach.
I decided to try out Acana and see if she might do better on it since Acana is like Orijen (same parent company) but with a lower protein percentage. I did a really slow transition (a few weeks) and Sunny's been slowly losing some of the excess weight she had gained, stopped licking my carpet, and loves her new food! Oh and her poops are now small and firm, and she has less gas. I am going to continue feeding her Pacifica but will consider rotating with some of Acana's other grain-free products in the future.
Starting next month Emma will be on a grain free diet. She will be on TOTW bison formula. All grain free treats as well.
Otis eats Blue Buffalo lamb and oatmeal formula (half a cup 3 times a day). I've heard that a lot of people don't like this brand because it apparently can cause runny poop, but so far I haven't had that problem.
...and they always manage to get their butt as close as possible to your face when they decide to get gassy! haha
I feed my two pugs a commercial raw diet ("Nordic", probably not available outside Scandinavia). It's mostly beef, blood and tripe. There is a little grain but not much. I would warmly recommend feeding raw to anyone. The dogs love it and they poop way less. My pugs very rarely fart since I changed to raw. Their overall health is excellent. No allergies, no itchiness, no tummy issues. We don't give them any veggies apart from the occasional raw carrot to entertain them. I'm planning to start adding some meaty bones to their diet for the sake of their teeth and also to allow them to fulfill their natural chewing/tearing behaviours more.
My theory is that feeding raw gives the dogs a better immune system, on top of the other health benefits.
