    Default What do you feed?

I'd like to know what you feed your pug(and other dogs you may have)

We feed Emma a natural, holistic food called Simply Nourish. It is made by PetsMart and is surprisingly rated pretty high for a generic dog food brand. We've also had problems with Emma having food allergies and Simply Nourish has been the BEST for her. She is on the LID Turkey and Rice. Good thing she isn't a big dog, cause the biggest bag is 11lbs xD

It's available in the States as well. It's by the same makers as Orijen but it's a bit lower in the protein. We are really happy with it.

I did a google search and it seems like dog food only available at special stores.

Why have you chosen to feed raw?

We switched to Taste of the Wild a couple of months ago and are really liking it. I have three dogs--a senior great dane, a middle aged chihuahua, and a young pug. Not sure of her age, as we found her as a stray. I have been quite happy with it. We are feeding the High Prairie Canine formula. I like that it is grain free, as two of our dogs seem to have issues with grain.

Emma has food allergies as well. We never did pin point what she is allergic to. But we put her on Simply Nourish and she cleared up nicely. I suspect potato was her allergy.

Winston is a walking allergic reaction. He and Molly (jackahuahua) get ZiwiPeak canned, with frozen or fresh vegetables and the occasional piece of fruit. No grains.
