I ordered some of the medium, split antlers for my pugs and they were not impressed. Gus chewed one for a little while and then lost interest. Benny carried his around for a while but didn't really chew it. Little miss Gracie May looked at the antler being offered and back at me as if to ask "what do you expect me to do with that" and then walked away. Geez! Anyone else find their pugs not interested in the high priced treats?
My Lola wasnt that interested either. Mine wasnt split, so i don't know if that made a difference or not. Not willing to spend the money on a split one to find out she isnt interested in that either.

Some aren't as thrilled with them as others....HOWEVER you can fix it up and get them started by melting a little bacon grease, dripping it onto the cut side, then put them in the oven on low/warm for half hour or so, so that it soaks in deeply. Then see. Some just don't get it at first. But once they get the hang of it, most enjoy chewing them.
Take care,
Lisa

If they are going to have bacon flavor I might even chew them myself.I love bacon. Bacon is God's gift to skinny people.
Mind have never liked them!!! They're expensive too!! I have regifted them!
Tinker chewed the first one for days, until it got to the point it was too small and I threw it away. She hasn't touched the second one and it's been months. She chews her nylabones everyday. Mine were medium size but not split.
