Tuesday night @ my Girl Scout meeting the girls will be making homemade dog treats and then on the 30th we are bring them to the animal shelter.
Here are my questions
1. Should I bake them that night and freeze them until the 29th?
2. Will they be okay if I dont freeze them?
3, Should I freeze them before cooking them?
Any ideas?

I say cook them that night, it will be more fun for the girls to see their finished product. Then put them in freezer bags and they will be ready to go the day you take them to the shelter.
Sounds like a fun project![]()

I found a recipe that only needs 4 ingredients
and they last in the fridge for 3 weeks freezer up to 6 months
so all is good.
yes the girls are very excited, we also had a donation drive for the shelter and recived food (cat and dog) cat litter, toys, paper and now treats. The shelter themself cannot give it to the animals there but they can give it to the animals who leave as a care package and that is fine with us. This week were going to a local nursing home to sing christmas songs LOVE IT
