Kibble Dressing

I have always boiled off chicken or turkey for the dogs to dress their food as a treat .... even if I cannot stand the smell. I am cleaning out the fridge little by little and found a left over steak and some country style pork ribs that I fixed for Karol before he got so nauseous. Been in there too long for me to think about eating, but prime doggy material ... should I boil it too, for the broth and marrow from the pork bones?

Yup, dice them nicely and throw them in the pot. Your grandmother would have stewed the devil himself as long as he left room in the pot for celery stalks. Look around you, does the Dalbrador want you to do it. Do I have to ask. I would throw in the salmon steaks as well, they have thawed nicely. I used to pick the chicken meat from the stewed soft bones and strain the whole thing in the old aluminum colander for many years. It is enchanting to think that your grandmother left you the recipe.

They are NOT getting fish ... not unless they can visit you with the deadly doggie flatus that will result. The Dalbadore was bouncing up and down for left over Cool Whip tonight.
And the salmon fillets are in the coldest part of the fridge waiting to be cooked for humans.

A one hundred pound Dalbadrore reduced to bouncing up and down over Redi-Whip is pretty sad. Still, mine are saddling the reluctant mastiff for a midnight raid on the local ice cream store after Taco the Dim unstrapped his climbing crampons with the sad observation that the icebox's observation deck had plenty of ice but no ice cream, sherbit, or frosty paws.

Okay ... just as a note ... boiling beef and pork is just as nauseating as poultry. ew
Candles and Febreze are not helping and I think I can forget about eating today. But the doggies, including Laura, are going to be happy, so that is all that matters, right?

Salmon steaks are delicious raw and no gas!

Even I like my salmon better raw.
