I am so sorry, about Roxi--that is just heartbreaking.

However, I echo Roxane in congratulating you in adopting an older dog. Sundee is just lovely!

After we had lost Roxi to PDE, we were given Sundee on a temporary basis so we weren't pugless until a new puppy was born. The breeder offered to replace Roxi with a new puppy. Well, after having Sundee for a week, we decided that there was no way we were giving her back! The breeder agreed to let us keep her and is still offering us a new puppy from Sundee's daughter. Sundee's bloodline is different from Roxi's so hopefully we won't have to worry about PDE again. We are so happy with the way everything has turned out after being devastated with losing Roxi.
