Breeders In New Jersey...Suggestions?

Hello, My name is Kim, and I am new to the forum. I am currently looking for a breeder in my area. I have been searching and googling and emailing breeders. I was just wondering if anyone had a breeder in my state or a surrounding state they have delt with and can recommend?

Ideally, I would like to find a litter that was very recently born, and pick a femle out of the litter. Then plan for her arrival. I'd like to be able to plan at least a week off of work for when I first bring the baby home...

I don't have advice for a breeder (I'm sure others will be along soon to answer that), but I wanted to say

Go to the Pug Dog Club of America web page....look under breeders.

Most breeders breed to keep something themselves....to show and then to use for breeding also. They do the picking. They want to keep the best looking ones for themselves or to sell to a nice show home. Many, like myself, prefer to keep what we want and then sell the others to wonderful pet homes. We keep til at least 10 weeks old...sometimes longer if we're not sure of what we're keeping. Once I decide, then I let people chose if there are multiples of the same sex.
