I know exactly what you mean, hehe, my black pug has psychotic spells too where he runs around grabbing pant legs and shoes, nipping toes, and jumping all over us. He starts obedience classes this week, so hopefully they'll have some suggestions for me. I tried that scented calming collar, but it didn't do anything, plus the smell from the thing made me feel nauseous. The one thing I find that does help is when I do some training stuff with him (teaching commands, etc) he seems to be a little more respectful afterwards. I also put his leash on him sometimes and have him walk around the house with me (making sure that he says beside me, or behind me) which is suppose to help show him that I'm the leader. Right now I'm having a hard time getting him to stay beside me when we're walking outside, because he gets so excited, so I figured practicing in the house where it's a little easier to keep him under control is a good start. Pug training is very new to me too!

Hello & to the village! Sounds like typical puppy for the most part but you can't let the puppy hurt your baby. Obedience classes are good and in the mean time you will have to closely supervise them when the baby is on the floor. You may need to give the puppy a time out in his crate for 5-10 miniutes so he learns that you will not tolerate that behavior.
