Hello everyone!
Been a long time lurker of this forum-you guys are just FULL of great advice.
After a long time debating and preparing....it's finally happening. Our little bundle of fur is coming home this weekend! We are driving down to Seattle to pick him up from the breeder. He will be 11 weeks old and we're planning on naming him Monty.
Neither my BF or I have ever had a dog before so we are very nervous and excited. I'm taking a week off work (more vacation than I know what to do with!) so I'm hoping he will able to get settled in well.
to the Village and
on your new bundle of joy!

Welcome!!
My favorite puppy tips ... get a piece of blankie that smells like his Mom & siblings to put in his crate along with a tshirt that you and BF have worn and gotten smelly.
Even if you are off work to help him settle in, simulate some of your work schedule so when you do go back, it is not another surprise and new situation to get used to.
Y'all will be fine ... all the shopping done to brig him home and the house puppy-proofed>>

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should just relax and get used to the idea.

Welcome, and congrats on your new furbaby! Honestly getting my pug Nano was a huge decision, and I was very nervous, but I am happy every single day that I did. They are the most loving dogs ever! Also, I love the name Monty, great choice :D
