Hi everybody!
I've been lurking here for a few months now, doing research and greedily consuming photos of pugs puppy-sized and larger. And in just a few short weeks I'll be a proud papa to a lil lady fawn puppy! In fact, depending on how things turn out, the puppy may come home the same weekend as my 1-year anniversary with my lovely girlfriend. The lil pug, with a tentative name of Winter if her personality fits, will have a 3 year old big brother: Oscar the Shi-tzu.
I can't wait to share photos and stories once she comes home. For now all we have are photos from the breeder, with my favorite part being my lady squeaking at the cuteness. "SAUSAGES!" is the all too common reaction :) Any suggestions for gear (harnesses, leashes, crates, and such) and food are greatly appreciated too.
Happy Tuesday from Baltimore!
A warm welcome! Your little girl will give you so much joy. Can't wait to see pics!!!

Hello &to the village! Looking forward to seeing pics of your new baby! There are lots of threads on here with really good info. You're going to need a crate, harness (don't buy an expensive one because she's going to out grow it but make sure it fits properly so she can't get out of it), ceramic or stainless bowls (plastic harbors bacteria and can cause breakouts on their face),chew toys (small Kongs you can fill, nylabones,no rawhide). You're going to have to stay with the food the breeder is feeding and if you change do it slowly by giving both and gradually fazing out the old.I know there's more and others will have more advice. You are about to have sooo much fun, they make you laugh everyday and love you no matter what!

Mac was born 11/11/11. (Only 10 weeks old) He's still a little pup. Growing fast though!
