Hello, everyone.
My name is JW_DCDad2012 and I am new to the forum. I am a 23 year old male from the state of West Virginia and I absolutely love Pugs. I have been wanting one for years upon years but never fond of the idea of paying big money. I told one of my friends back in high school who owned Pugs that if they ever had puppies I wanted one and in about 3 more weeks I'll be getting my first little one. I've been reading about all kinds of different facts and stuff since she informed me I would be getting one, but when I found the forum.. I had to sign up. I've been doing forums since 2000 but none concerning pets. I've been on sports forums, proud daddy forums, etc! I am excited to be a member of this forum and learn from you all.

Trust me.. you'll hear a lot from me. If there's something I need help with.. you'll all know about it. lol. I love to be informed and look forward to hearing opinions and advice from you all.

Make sure to use your time wisely and find a good vet with experience with pugs---learn their hours, their names and ask about pet health 'credit cards.' Don't even go home with your new puppy, stop directly at the vet you have chosen for a well puppy check including fecal check for parasites and puppy shots. Ask your vet for a quick evaluation of eyes, and legs. Check your home for puppy hazards by crawling on hands and knees eyeballing sharp furniture (eyes) electric cords, computer cords (chew, tangle, choke), decorative plants that are toxic and pick up any insect glue or bait traps. That being done, go outside and check for toxic plants, and all the debris that you cannot imagine a puppy eating---which they will do in a heartbeat. Welcome to The Village and let us help you.
