Hi Lindsey,
I live in Toronto Canada, but I drove down to Ann Arbor to meet my dear friend who was kind enough to drive my Loki from DeKalb IL where Vicki and Cathy put Loki on his private plane with Dennis, Vicki's husband as his personal piliot. My friend AnnaDee then picked up Loki, her new guy Otis and another puggy for someone in Chicago. She then drove Loki to meet us.
I wish I had of gotten on this board before we left. The hotel we stayed in was a hole!! We were on Carpenter Ave at the Days Inn. Other that that I loved your city!! I plan to go back and go shopping!!!

I have two other pugs also. Thor who is 12 and Peg who is 8. We just recently lost our Athena who was 12 and Chris my son has been grieving her so bad, that he was almost depressed. I emailed my bestest friend Sharon and she immediately went to Vicki, they emailed me and told me that Loki had just come into rescue and he was a puppy and Chris would love him. I was thinking on a senior or a special need pug, but that would be for me, not my son. So Sharon, Vicki and Cathy went to work. They got Loki neutered, vaccinated, his papers for his trip and then Vicki asked Dennis if he would fly Loki up to Chicago. Sharon then jumped in an emailed a friend of ours on Pugworld and asked her if she would consider picking up Loki and driving him half way to meet me.

I honestly can't tell you how smoothly this all went. Cathy took care of my boy and got him use to his new name, Vicki got the plane ride together and Sharon coordianted. Loki was home in no time!! He has taken to Chris like you wouldn't believe. I have tried to sneak him in my bed when Chris is sleeping, he just gets down and goes right back to Chris.

Vicki and I believe that Athena sent Loki to Chris, cause has that little pug boy every filled a big void in my son's heart!!
