Hello everyone!
I've been in love with pugs from the first time I met one over a decade ago, my ex-coworker's little girl Daisy, and have been in their sway ever since.
Imagine my thrill, after waiting for so long, when my partner's sister's boyfriend's parents (quite a chain of relationships, eh?) offered us a three year old show quality pug named Peaches, absolutely free! Supposedly she had no interest in breeding, being stubborn as pugs are wont to be, so they were looking to place her in a new home. For just the cost of a visit to the vet, shots, getting her fixed, and a plane ticket, we've adopted an adorable little girl. My partner flew out to Missouri on Saturday, spent the weekend, and came back yesterday with our new baby in tow.
So far she's been a little shy but very happy in her new home, more comfortable around my partner than me (he's had more time with her), but is remarkably well socialized for a pug raised in a kennel, albeit with lots of love and attention from her previous owners. She's only had one accident inside so far, and spent the entire night in my room curled up on my bed without incident. At this rate, if she keeps it up, we're going to be two very happy new pug owners!
Here are some pictures of her on her first day:
And here's one of her smooching my partner this morning:
Welcome home, Peaches!!!

We didn't pick her name, but in my opinion it's so bad that it wraps right back around to good. It's un-great! :) And it's even better knowing that close friends of ours just adopted a Rottie/Lab mix called Honey Pie... when visiting, with the two of them in the room, we're bound to drown in saccharine!
Thanks for the nice comments!
That is one gorgeous pug! Welcome to PugVillage!![]()

Peaches is beautiful and she looks nice and juicy (pleasently plump) so her name fits her.

If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then give him only two of them.
