I missed this thread yesterday, but just wanted to welcome you to the Village. It sounds like you've done everything you need to do for Goldie to have the fabulous life she deserves! yep, she even said that she would start calling her Goldie so that she can learn her name. :)

9 weeks is much better and it's great when the breeder uses your name.

When we picked up Pixel it was amazing to hear the breeder shout 'PIXEL' out the door to her pack of 10 pugs and see Pixel come tearing in at 100 miles and hour like the bundle of trouble he is.

What's "pugtonia"? Is that when my little puggy Maggie blitzes around my office in circles until she konks out almost? It's hilarious to watch but I'm also nervous and watching to make sure she doesn't bonk herself on furniture.

Yep, that's a Pugtona! Steer clear and let 'em go! It's the funniest thing to see the butt go down and the ears go back and zoom! But yes, it can be scary watching the near misses with the furniture.

I think you'll be glad to hear that I have no advice (except agreement). Sometimes too much can cause me to throw up my arms and yell, "Arrgh!!" Welcome to PV from Chicago!

Good news! I will be picking Goldie up January 15th, she will be 9 weeks and two days old! Much better I think! :) Thanks everyone again for the advice and I will be posting more photos next month when I get her, until then I will be reading up on all of my pug facts!

I think that's wise, and you'll be happy. I'm so glad that your breeder worked with you on that!

he will cry the first night... pixel did it too... the first 2 weeks he slept in his bed in our bedroom... with my hand in his bed to make him feel our love... then................. ehm... we agreed to have him sleeping on our bed......... I love when he put his chin on me to get comfy!
I'm SO glad you are getting your pug later! It's worth waiting!
