Hello other puggy parents! I am a new mom to Maggie, born 9/28/06. I haven't yet figured out how to post pictures on this site so I can't share photos yet. Any suggestions? I'm also very glad to have found this site so I can share my new experiences. I'm amazed at how sweet pugs are. On our first night bringing her home she did not whine one bit when I put her in her crate. She also learned how to sit in two days, uses the puppy pads AND goes outside really well. At night she's been sleeping 6 hours straight--sometimes I go to her crate and check on her just to make sure she's still breathing! I've noticed she's become more active in the past 2 weeks and it's hilarious watching her run in circles around my desk. One thing I've gotta figure out is how to get her NOT to grab my pants legs with her teeth and pull for dear life. I know she's just playing, and at first it was cute, but sometimes it hurts! I've been saying, "NO bite!", then putting her in "time out" in her gated play area...do you think that will work? So far, I'm not seeing any change. She thinks it's so much fun.
