ITS WITH REAL SADNESS to let you all know that one of our group members MARIA KANTARTZI has been killed. Maria was a great animal lover..and sadly died rescuing a dog a few weeks ago.

**it's with a very heavy heart that I send this message tonight. This is a tribute to our sweet friend Maria Kantartzi, a GREAT animal lover, member of this group, who passed away last april 17 (sorry , I knew this terrible news only yesterday night).

Maria was driving home when she stopped the car to help a stray dog on the road; another car came and killed Maria and the dog. She lost her life doing what she always loved, helping animals...

Please, light a candle for her, for this angel who lost her precious life because of her inmense generosity towards the voiceless and defenceless creatures in need.
