May 22nd 2010, was not a good day. I had to make the decsion to let my 16 mutt "Dusty" cross the rainbow bridge. She was part Cocker Spainial, and Pek. She was always the good dog, and loving and demanding. She was 16 and her body could no longer keep up with her spirt. Spunky to the end and always tried so hard. She had been not been doing well the past few days, and had either a severe seziure or stroke...and had trouble walking and getting up the last few days. Like all of us, was hopeing she recover, but knew it was time, and didn't want her to suffer. Even with her body failing her she keeped her sprit up and tried so hard to do all the things she always did. The hardest part was after we had he put down, was cleaning up her things. Also letting her favorite ball, go to our young Puggieman. I am glad our Pug had the chance to meet the Dustonator, and play with her and share her ball. it was so cute the 2 of them, Frankie being only over a year old and Dusty 16, was funny to watch them play. Frank had tons of energy, and Dust tried to keep up as much as her old body would allow. But she tried so hard. I am still always hope to see her lying in her favorite blanket and hear he bark and wag her tail when I come home. It's only been a day, and it still hurts. i finish by saying....Goodbye my Faithfully friend....have fun playing across the rainbow bridge, warm it up for Frankie and your faimly until we get there. LoveTrav, Karen, and your puggie friend Frankie (who only knew you for a short time and not long enough)
