Today a very special boy crossed the bridge. Tuffy,my MIL Shih-Tzu was at total little gentleman at all times. Always gentle,never a problem for anyone. When he came to us 8 years ago he had given up.He was one total mat and couldn't move. We got him shaved down and cleaned up and he never looked back. He was the poster child of bad breeding,allergic to just about everything,bad eyes,bad hips. But he was beautiful to us! In the last few months his body started to fail but he didn't let that get him down-even blind and mostly deaf he still wanted his evening treats-the special ones that only he got-he wanted his special pillow fixed up just right and his blanket tucked in around him. Tonight there's a huge hole in our hearts that only a tiny little guy with a never give up spirit can fill. We miss you and love you so much "Tuffinator"!
