In loving memory of our sweet Homer, my daughters beloved little poodle-mix

August 31, 1995 –October 10, 2009
It’s been 1 year sweet Homer that you left your broken little body here on earth, to run free in perfect health at Rainbow Bridge. Your Dr. said we would only have you for 6 more months but you blessed us with 2 more years. You were always so full of life and love, then one day you started coughing and slowing down. Your Dr. diagnosed you with congestive heart failure and told us it would only be a matter of time. Grandma bought you a puppy stroller, as you had always enjoyed your walks but now it was just too hard on your little heart. You left Grandma with warm beautiful memories of all the walks you two shared. The coughing became worse over time and the medication was no longer controlling the CHF. Our fears grew more real that maybe you were getting tired and that time was drawing near, to let you rest in the gentle arms of the Lord. Then one day the twinkle left your eyes, there was only darkness, your frail little body was tired and you let us know that it was time. You left this world in the loving arms of your Mommy, as you gently crossed over to Rainbow Bridge...to be forever reunited with Pickles and Kiki. Thank you Homer for all your love, for the cherished memories and for giving us the honour of loving you for 14 years. Until you are in our arms again....we love you...sweet dreams Baby Bear......
