I have been dreading today for about a week now. We had to have my mothers pug Alli euthanized. It was a difficult decision to make. Alli was just about 16 years old and her health was really starting to deteriate. She was not able to hold her bowels, and had a very hard time walking. She also was pretty much blind and had developed lumps all over her body.
I picked her up this morning to bring her to the vet. I hadnt lived at home for the past few years but I lived there when she was a puppy until she was about 9. She was a great pug. Very lovable. Always had that adorable "i didnt do it look". I cannot say a bad thing about her. All in all I pretty much lost it in the vet. Its been a few hours and it still weighs heavily on me. Even thinking she is no longer in pain still is wreaking me.

I wasnt as close to Alli as my mom was obviously. However, to help my mom out I brought her to the vet to see her off. I cant even imagine having to make that decision for Bella.
