Myles' passing
Yesterday, late afternoon, Myles, the sweet pug of my friend, Lilly, and her daughter, Franschesca, passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. He was ten years old but they had him for only 20 months. Until the end, he could not take his eyes off of Lilly. He was so attached to her. He came to them through rescue [Great Lakes Pug Club's rescue group, M.O.P.S., Making Our Pugs Safe] with obvious signs of neglect such as crusty infected ears etc. Shortly after his arrival he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. In the end his heart failed even more and that led to multi-organ failure.
His friends and extended family got to say goodbye. His final day dawned sunny and warm for late October here in Wisconsin. He went for a "walk," by stroller, along the lakefront, one of his favorite places. He passed with Lilly and her daughter in attendance.
He is at peace. Please pray for the grieving family he leaves behind, Lilly, her daughter Franschesca and all the extended family and friends that knew him, Myles, the sweetest pug.
Thank you.
