Thank you for being such a wonderful cat-I only recently heard of the term heart dog, but you were our family's heart cat. You even waited for my mom to come back from Vegas so she could say goodbye to you today. 1/2 an hour after she got there, you passed away on her lap-she said she felt you telling her goodbye and that it would be ok.

I always laughed at how you found us-we went to the shelter in 1985 the day after moving to KS, and I was adamant that I wanted an orange tiny kitten. Nothing else would do. So while I was looking at the orange kittens with my back turned to your cage-you reached your paw out and tried to grab my hair. There you were-a little older than the others (about 6 months old), and not at all what I wanted! But you were meant to be ours. You were with me for so many things in my life. Even after I moved away, when I came back to visit, you'd still come up and sleep with me, but you'd never come up to my room if I wasn't there. All other cats have been held up to the standard you set-and while I love them, they aren't you.

I will miss you and we are so sad we're missing a member of our family tonight.
