HUGE prayer request !!!

Thank you all for being the wonderful people that you are. Its because of all your wonderful positivity and bigtime prayers that Yoda is around today !!!!

This was the biggest and most heart crushing lesson of my life....there is nothing on earth to describe the guilt & the pain of knowing you almost killed your own dog. I know we had no way of knowing he'd get onto the dining table, but I should have known !!! He's spiderman on 4 paws !!!!! Anyhoo, I try not beat myself up about it, but it has changed my whole outlook on life in general, how blessed we really are and its showed us how careful to be. New strategic things are in place, dining table and coffee table will be free of anything, you name it....the safety measure will now be in place. I really want everyone else to learn from this !!! Even though you think your puggy may not get to something, think like him/her !! As Ellen said, crawl around and look for things. I vacuumed every crevice before Yoda came home, and I walked around to see from his point of view. We also bught a seriously tall dust bin, so none of that either !!!!

Its been a week from HELL....too much happened, but we're all stronger and wiser for it !

Yoda baby is happy to be home and cheekier than ever :) He was so spoilt last night, think he thinks his "ship has come in". BUT, he slept in his own bed the whole night, I was shcoked...I put a blankie over him and that was that. Wonder if it will last HAHA.

Oh, and those in the States with the poison control hotline and that kinda of help....use it !!!! There is nothing like that here, and the emergency vet line runs with 4 different vet clinics, each week on clinic is responsible for emergancy after hours. But THAT didn't even help us, cos the fool never answered when needed !!!!! You are so so lucky to have that kind of animal care. Living in this country, well, its not for long !!!

This just warms my heart to hear Yoda is home and back to his cheeky self. Sounds like he is even playing it up a bit but who can blame him. It's so sweet to picture him under a blankie in his bed all safe and snuggly. What these puggies put us through but we wouldn't have it any other way (well, except for these kinds of scares).

Yesterday I wanted to say I think we can all learn a lesson from this but I didn't want to rub your nose in it, you had suffered enough and you would already be blaming yourself. I'm glad he all back to normal, now I can say what I was thinking lol. This could happen to anyone of us.

I again did not read all the posts before responding. I am soooo glad Yoda is ok. I will take your advice and check my house again. This was an accident though and I really hope you don't blame yourself. We never know what our puggies can get into. I have two young kids and sometimes have to pull pieces of paper out of Obi's mouth because my kids dropped something. I will watch even more carefully now. I am happy that you have your Yoda back- what a joyous occasion that must have been. You are a great pug mommy and he is such a cutie! I would call him a miracle pug too.

I got so worried when I started to read all of this...I've been so busy and I began to get so worried about Yoda...but I'm very relieved to hear he is home and okay...you can't beat yourself up...my thoughts and prayers are with you and Yoda!

Just reading this tonight and was happy to read that Yoda is now doing much better. When first reading this post my heart felt so bad for you. How awful to have to go through that. I'm usually so calm, but would have been a mess seeing my baby sick like that. Sending Yoda lots of pug hugs!!
