Am freaking out... Ben is not putting pressure on his right rear leg! Was fine earlier!!!!
He's on crate rest tonight...just gave him a pill...will go to the vet tomorrow if needed!

Assume you've checked the paw for sticker, glass shard, stinger, etc.
Can you feel exactly where the pain is (hip, knee, paw, etc.)?
Hope he just wrenched something and is back to normal in the morning.

That happend to Bella when she was about Ben's age, rested a few hours and then was fine. Hoping that is the case with Ben and nothing serious. Sending good thoughts and prayers for him

I rested him for a bit and gave him a tramadol (after calling the vet). He seems better!!! There is still a bit of a hitch. Such a stinker...was going crazy here all night!!! He's gonna have to sleep in the crate tonight to make sure!!!! It hurts me ...cuz he looks so sad in there!!
I KNOW knees are good!!! Had them checked as a pup!!! Have seen bad knees and that is not what this looked like at all!!!
Lisa, I checked his paws....thought maybe sliver....but nothing seemed to hurt him when I felt around!
Maybe he jammed something or twisted???? Any thing is possible!!!!
I feel a bit better.....but man.....sure threw my stomach!!!
If there's a hitch or anything tomorrow AM, he's going to the vet! Need him ready for the Nationals in 2 wks!
