    Default My Pugsley

The pug that started it all, is in kidney failure. We now have him on a RX food, but they vet seems to think it will only be a few months. He is 15 and has been very healthy up to now. For that I am grateful. But I am so not ready to lose him so soon after Dolly girl.

Prayers would be appreciated for my little man.

    hugs, Lucy

Lisa, he is on claxamox to help his kidneys process any infection that could be coming from his teeth. Thats is. Anypril wasn't working for him.

This is a great article n kidney failure in dogs and worth discussing the other options mentioned here with your vet:

Chronic Kidney Failure in Dogs ~ Pawprints and Purrs, Inc.

I have four seniors at my feet myself, Sweet old Bailey's bloodwork was not stellar and I am very worried that her time may be coming in the near future. I so wish we could keep them healthy and happy forever. Good luck and give him kisses for me.

    Take care,
    Lisa
