The pug that started it all, is in kidney failure. We now have him on a RX food, but they vet seems to think it will only be a few months. He is 15 and has been very healthy up to now. For that I am grateful. But I am so not ready to lose him so soon after Dolly girl.
Prayers would be appreciated for my little man.

This is a great article n kidney failure in dogs and worth discussing the other options mentioned here with your vet:

I have four seniors at my feet myself, Sweet old Bailey's bloodwork was not stellar and I am very worried that her time may be coming in the near future. I so wish we could keep them healthy and happy forever. Good luck and give him kisses for me.
Take care,
Lisa
