A big part of breeding is finding good homes! picture heavy I'm in contact with most of the owners of my babies......
There's a terrific couple that live in CT...I met them at the first PDCA Nationals that I went to in 2003. Isis and her littermates were with me. I was keeping Isis for sure and was also in LOVE with the male...Wally. As he grew...he was a little longer than I liked...but I was so attached to him that I wasn't thinking of letting him go.
There was a really nice guy...who saw him and fell in love with him. His wife was at a vet tech seminar and he brought her to see him... Then they brought their other male pug that was about a year old. I really liked them....So we talked about them taking him home after the seminar and Nationals were finished the next day. I told them how much my guys LOVE larger stuffed animals...and other things about him. They left...and a while later, I got a call that they wanted to come visit again. They had gone shopping!! He had a new color and leash...and best of all..they had gotten a large teddy bear to leave with him so that he'd be taking his littermate's smells with them when he left us!
Every year, I get pictures of him! Last year, they made a calendar and sent me one. I came home from Fl to find another one waiting for me for this year!!!!
This year...Isis, Wally, and Topaz will be 8!
