with helping out rescue bullies and deaf bulldogs and some of them are pugs too..you can see where they are not the best bred in the world.

backyard breeders and puppymills all over the place for both breeds here

I feel very strong that you need good show breeders to breed the foundation dogs of tomorrow so the pugs will continue to look like pugs and so on.

also not sure if the pugs have added the longentivity stamps to their pedigrees yet. the bulldogs are starting too and considering it.
if you had a dog that lived a long time past it lifespan normally it would get a star...if you did it on another breeder even longer another star and so on. that way people can see how long the lifespans are and also be a good indication of the health of the lines..
