    Yup!!
My most perfect dog (And I adore all seven of mine) is DiNozzo ... sweet, loving, comforting, door-dashing, worrisome, pudgy pawed and dewy eyed ... He was dumped over the fence at a vet's office. Pure Doxie ... a L/H dapple, still with dangly bits - expensive dog, just tossed away. He came into my life four months after I lost my husband. He brought laughter back in the house.
The right little one will find you :-)

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should just relax and get used to the idea.

I am not a breeder but those questions sound intrusive to me. I understand wanting to find a good match for the puppy but no ones life is perfect and neither of the two things you mention should be any concern with regards to raising a puppy.

I actually have talked with another breeder who has a two-year-old and a 9 month old that I am interested in. I sent in the puppy application without giving access to my blog and was approved for either of those pups or one of her younger pups. I like the personality of the 2 year old the most and think she is a better fit for our family. So far we have not made any commitments but it is looking like I will be getting the 2-year-old.

This pup's parents have had all of the testing and it is listed on the OFA. This pup has had all of the testing done and her results are listed on the OFA as well! The only "down side" is this pup's parents have not been shown, but the breeder shows her other dogs. For me the temperament and the health testing are the most important and this pup has exactly what I am looking for.
