YAAAAAAAAAAA it's here it's here!!

Abby has (so far) delivered 5 very healthy happy squeaky little puppies... she gave us exactly what we needed to fulfill our waiting list. I have ONE person left who is waiting for her to deliver puppy number 6 and then the whole waiting list will be satisfied!

1st-fawn female @ 10:10am 6oz happy and squeaking.

2nd-fawn male @ 10:51am 6.5oz came out barking.

3rd-all black female no white at all @ 11:32 6.25oz this one is noisy too.

4th-black female @ 12:54pm, white spot on chest and white toe nails, 6.25oz, she's a squeaker too.

5th- pure black male @ 1:19pm with white toe nails, 5.5oz, not as vocal but still making noise.

Puppies 1 and 3 are going to the same household, specifically having requested a fawn and a black female. Puppy 2's name is Tango... I have no names for the rest yet, but as I said, we are still waiting on puppy number 6 .. this one doesn't care if they get boy or girl, fawn or black, so no matter what the 6th one is, he/she has a great home all lined up. YAAAAAAAAAAA

6th Puppy is a black male @ 2:55 6.5 ounces.. he completes our waiting list... Abby is still contracting, but one of the after births did not come out with the pup, so I am guessing that's what she's trying to expell.. IF it is puppy number 7, I will let everyone know.... whew! It's been a long day!

Oh puppies.....how lovely, and how lovely indeed that your entire waiting list gets their baby! So, I know nothing about the breed standards. Is white considered acceptable on a black pug? Personally, I think white markings are adorable. My daughter rescued a pit/lab cross that kind of looks like a giant black and white pug with long legs. Though in his case, the smooshy nose is caused by the same thing that caused his incredibly rickety crooked legs.

Wow! I DON'T live all the way across the country from you--just across the state...maybe someday! 'Bout the time you put pictures up, I'll be having puppy fever real bad! I just have to remind myself that we are all happily & sensibly middle-aged here (for now!). Rugbysmom

Yay!!! 7!!!!! Holy cow. Poor girl must be absolutely exhausted. Can't wait to see some pics of the little ones. Congratulations!!!!
