Just in case you all were still wondering Lucy will be spayed in 4 weeks. The vet told me that it is unsafe for her to have puppies considering her size.
The vet told me she may double in size but even if she does and I still breed her there will be a very high chance of losing her and the puppies
I'm sorry if you're disappointed, but please, just enjoy your little girl! She'll be a better pet, really, & you won't be putting her at risk. Another point is that many Pugs do not make good moms--they like being with their people more than their own puppies many times. There was a lady on here awhile back who adopted a pregnant Pug, & the momma only ended up having a single puppy, which managed to make it to about 24 days old, then it died. It was kind of heartbreaking!
Another idea, in the future if you are thinking you want a 2nd Pug, look at all the Pug rescue stories on here--there are so many loving, sweet Pugs (& others) that need forever homes....and please stick around, we are glad you are here. AND....did you post pictures?? We looove pictures....
