Hello all--I am confused--are there two differenct types of pugs: english and chinese? I have heard a couple of different things. If there is, what is the difference and how do I know which one my pug is?

No, there is only one type of pug, though some people call them Chinese pugs. For a detailed discussion of this, see the topic "Chinese pugs" in the Pug Life forum. You can read all about the development of the breed in China and how pugs were taken to Europe.
