you can go to DFW Pug Rescue Club, Inc. - No Pug Left Behind - A non-profit Organization Serving Texas that is the link to DFW Pug Rescue website - i don't know where in Texas you are but up the dfw area they have events every weekend, somewhere, and are always needed volunteers. I know some other pug rescues around the state that might be closer to you, if you want to message me i can give you that info or if you let me know here on the post other might be able to hook you up with a rescue or meet up group that is closer to you - depends how comfortable you feel!
