Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank everyone who came to the meet up yesterday! We had so much fun! It was such a roaring success, we are going to do it again next month and hopefully we'll have just as many people show, if not more!
I believe I'm setting the next one for February 26th at noon and hope that it will be sunny like it was yesterday. Be sure to mark your calendars early!!
I'm going to suggest the same park, Sunrise Dog Park on the west side of Olympia.. but I did have a request for a meet up to be at Stilacom (sp) as well. I think I'd like the May meet up to be there, since it should be much better weather. I understand that the park is gigantic in comparison, but I'd like Gracie to be a little older before she has that much room to run.
So my question to all of you in the Pacific Northwest.... if we have a meet up at the Stilacom dog park, how many of you would be interested in joining? Also.. who may have the opportunity to come to the meet up on February 26th?
Please let me know when you know... I'd really love to see more people come together to make these meet ups a wonderous success.
Thanks, everyone!

I'm in. Belly banding for Bruno before we go though! LOL!
Does belly banding a humping bandit stop the humping. Sorry if I sound ignorant on the subject. Eddie is terrible for wanting to mount everyone, male or female.
GINA
Gina, I have heard it does.. I'm hoping it will help as Bruno was ..um.... very very interested in Jonas for the whole time we were there. I secretly think Jonas was enjoying it since he would just lay their and say "Yeah, whatever".... We'll let you know if it works next month LOL

Sounds fun! The only thing for me is I don't like the "big" parks unless the little dogs have a separate fenced area. When our little dogs are mixed with the big dogs is a "huge" safety issue.
Oh poor Bruno, just as confused as Eddie, lol. Eddie follows my girlfriends pug around for hours, she just lets him have his way. They are like a 6 legged pug when she comes over. He also does it to my parents male and he is not so appreciative of it and will tell him off. But 2 minutes later he is right back at it. He doesn't do it to Zoey because he knows she won't put up with it. Horny little devil. Must try the belly band next time Benji is over.

We'd love to attend another meet-up!
Probably without the semi truck next time.
We're also game for a meet just about any time at Fort Steilacoom.

Sunrise Park has two sections both fenced off so the little guys are seperate from the big guys. As far as Bruno being a humping bandit...yes, he's insatiable! LOL! Especially for Jonas. I do hope the banding works because of the up and coming Valentines event. I would love to not have to remove him from other dogs the whole time we are there. Bruno was so determined to get to Jonas that I had to put him back on his least toward the end of the Meet Up. He was so worked up he was wheezing and we walk three times a day! Jonas really does something for him. I still understand if you want me to grab the therapy bill. LOL! Oh, Kayte, James is going too so if I can't drive, he will. Text me as we get closer to the event so we can plan the carpooling situation. I will bring my actual camera for both the VD and February's Meet Up. I am so stoked for both of these events.
Pug Addiction, we should get Bruno and Eddie together. Who knows, there may be a connection! Plus, it would be cool to see if the banding works on the both of them. I am making the band tonight and testing it out on Bruno with my mom's English/French Bulldog, Harley.
