We had a great suggestion from one of the Villagers. (thank you RussErin!)

Use this forum to post about upcoming pug-related events that other Villagers might be interested in attending.

Suggestion to add would include:

• Pug meet-ups
• Dog shows
• Pug play dates (i.e., Sunday morning in the dog park)
• Pet fairs
• Pet parades and contests
• Rescue-related events and fundraisers

IMPORTANT: To be helpful, please add the City, State, and Event Type, and Date(s) in the thread title.

For example:

Title: Boston, MA - Pet Fair - 8/20/09 to 8/21/09

or

Title: Seattle, WA - Pug Owner Dinner Night - Friday, 08/14/09


In the actual posting, please be sure to include:

Date(s)
Time
Location
Web-link (if applicable)
Phone number (if applicable)
Contact person/Coordinator
Driving directions (if known)

Also, if it's an event for people-only (like dinner out or movie-night) , be sure to indicate that, so there are no surprises.

If there is a link to another sight, like meetup.com, include that link here!

All rescue related items are to be posted in the rescue forum, including raffles. Before any raffles are posted please email Karl or myself to make sure we do not have multiple rescues doing raffles at once. We would like to give all rescues fair exposure and not too many fundraisers going on at once...which honestly I think most everyone spaces their fundraising efforts apart.

However, I believe one of your volunteers PM'd me about a raffle last night and I gave her the go ahead to post in the rescue forum since no one else is requesting a raffle at this time. Any further questions please feel free to let me know.

We have no problem with the Raffle being posted in the Pug Rescue forum
